Death of a Recon Unit

The firelight in the woods has come to an end with most of the Soviet recon unit wiped out. Some Ivans were seen running off into the woods. After the intense firing there the front has gone quiet.

 

Luckily the skies are overcast so the threat from the Russian Jabos is very low. Still the advancing grenadiers can's stop looking up into the sky out of habit.

 

So far there has been no contact with the Soviet MLR. Recon patrols continue to probe the probable Soviet lines to locate and ID positions.
